In a significant move aimed at infusing Bollywood glamour into the sporting arena, Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan has been announced as the brand ambassador for the third season of the RuPay Prime Volleyball League sponsored by A23. Roshan, known for his passion for sports, particularly appreciates the physical aspect of volleyball, making him a natural fit for the role.

The eagerly awaited third season of the RuPay Prime Volleyball League, presented by A23, is set to kick off on February 15, 2024. The action-packed matches will be broadcast live on Sony Sports Network, promising an exciting blend of sports and entertainment.

The RuPay Prime Volleyball League, powered by A23, is co-owned and exclusively marketed by Baseline Ventures, India’s prominent sports marketing company. The league comprises nine franchises, including the Bengaluru Torpedoes, Mumbai Meteors, Chennai Blitz, Ahmedabad Defenders, Kolkata Thunderbolts, Calicut Heroes, Kochi Blue Spikers, Hyderabad Black Hawks, and the newest addition, Delhi Toofans.

The league’s second season, broadcasted in multiple languages on Sony Sports Network, witnessed a substantial increase in viewership, with 206 million cumulative viewers compared to 133 million in Season 1. The sport also gained significant traction on social media, amassing 371 million impressions, 113.9 million views, 92 million reach, and 5 million fan engagements across various digital platforms.
